Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. About STOA Markets
STOA Markets ("STOA", "we", "us") provides software for market and pop-up event organizers to collect vendor applications, manage vendor communications, and track their events. By creating an account and using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use STOA. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. Please notify us immediately at hello@stoamarkets.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Your Responsibilities as an Organizer
You are solely responsible for the markets and events you create on STOA, including your communications with vendors, your booth pricing, your refund and cancellation policies, and your compliance with applicable local laws and regulations. STOA is a software tool only and is not a party to any agreement between you and your vendors.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the content of your markets and communications with vendors. STOA is not liable for any harm resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information you share through the platform.
4. Vendor Data
When vendors submit applications through your market page, their information is stored in your STOA account. You agree to handle vendor data responsibly and only use it for the purpose of managing your market. You may not sell or share vendor data with third parties without their consent.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use STOA for any unlawful purpose, to spam or mislead vendors, to impersonate another person or organization, or to interfere with the platform's operation. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion if these terms are violated.
6. Service Availability
We work hard to keep STOA available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
STOA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, STOA is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between you and your vendors.
STOA does not guarantee any specific outcomes, including vendor participation, application volume, or event success.
You agree to indemnify and hold STOA harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the platform, including disputes with vendors or third parties.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your profile, markets, and all personally identifiable vendor application data will be permanently removed. We retain anonymized, aggregated usage data (such as application category and month) with all personal identifiers stripped, solely for the purpose of improving the platform. This data cannot be linked back to any individual.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email of any material changes. Your continued use of STOA after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
